Meets
Details were discussed concerning HVG Boosters’ role for the
Blaine Wilson. (February 18-20) Shelton has already distributed
an information sheet with specific details concerning this
event to all families. Sign-up sheets will be put up for set-up
and tear down of the hospitality room as well as working one
session during the meet. Anne Hinze will put together a menu,
buy food, and ask for volunteers to help with the cooking.
Kathy Wallace will provide the march-in signs again this year.
Shelton is putting together goody bags. We also need gifts
for the judges. We will be reimbursed for all money spent
on this meet.
We need
to talk to Mike about the practice schedule for the weekend
of this meet.
A decision
was made to hold a girls’ home meet in November of 2005. This
will be the weekend before Future Stars. Preparation for this
meet will begin in July.

Fundraising
Keith Hall has resigned his position of fundraising chairman.
The board has asked Brittany Meszaros to take on this role.
Brittany has begun planning for a golf outing to take place
at Pleasant Valley GC on Sunday, July 17th. This is tentatively
the Sunday before summer camp begins. Details for this event
will be ironed out when we have a definite date for camp.
Barb Thompson
will look into the possibility of selling mulch at the gym
as a spring fundraiser.
Miscellaneous
A decision was made to allow families to use their Scrip money
for expenses other than booster fees. Taya Bass will distribute
the specific details concerning this to booster families.

Spring
Banquet – this will take place the weekend before Mothers’
Day. Anne Hinze will call Barb Lippoli to see if she will
organize this again this year. Shelton has requested people
send her pictures to be included in a slideshow to be shown
at the banquet.
The
next meeting will be Saturday, February 12th at 10 a.m.
